Job Profile
We are seeking an experienced Digital Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing digital solutions for our customers manufacturing operations. This will involve understanding the variables and variation in existing manufacturing processes, developing propositions for future state solutions, developing new solutions, and integrating digital systems into existing manufacturing processes including; instrumentation selection and deployment, undertaking Measurements Systems Analysis (MSA) and Gauge Repeatability & Reliability and data handling and outputting (usually via customer hosted cloud services). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, and experience in the development of digital solutions for manufacturing operations. You should have a solid understanding of computer networks, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with digital and instrumentation systems. You should also have excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement digital solutions for manufacturing operations including data handling, data security, sensor selection, installation management, calibration.
• Design, install, and maintain digital systems and networks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues including growth of model confidence and identification of process variables needed to be included.
• Develop and implement test plans for new digital systems.
• Engage and train client staff on the use of digital systems.
• Monitor digital systems and networks to ensure ongoing solution development.
• Assess digital systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Develop and document system protocols and procedures.
• Prepare reports and presentations on the status and risks on projects.

Personal Profile – Qualifications and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
